Yay for finishing a project!

I have rediscovered how much fun needle punch is! When I was little, mom had a needle punch set that I used to play with that had dials to make different length stitches and everything and it was so fun. So recently at Michael's when I saw needle punch kits I just had to get one. The needle doesn't do all the different length stitches but it was still fun. It's also really quick and easy to do! It's like paint by numbers but with a needle and thread.

Well, here it is, my first needle punch in probably 17+ years. 3 guesses for who I'm sending it to! LOL When deciding which one to buy, I saw this one and it just screamed your name Heather! :D I hope you like it! I have another little present that just screamed you too that's coming with it, although the second present isn't hand made.

Now I need to go buy more fabric and thread and do more of these! The fun part is I can do any line drawing I want! You don't have to buy the kits if you don't want to, you just use 3 strands of the cross stitch thread. I'm thinking of trying to do some of my Celtic knot work.

I am also working on a felt applique kit I got on clearance, but I'm finding that a bit more difficult. Lots of pieces of felt to cut out then stitch together. But it's a really cute butterfly wall hanging I'm doing for Bekah.
